Lian Shan Shuang Lin Monastery and Pu Ti Buddhist Temple are currently conducting the Threefold Ordination Ceremony (三坛大戒) — the conferral of the novice, full monastic, and Bodhisattva precepts.

This is a deeply sacred and significant occasion in the Buddhist tradition, during which monastics formally receive and undertake the precepts, deepen their cultivation, and strengthen their commitment to walking the Buddha’s path with discipline, compassion, and wisdom.

In conjunction with this auspicious occasion, Compassion & Wisdom Vihāra will be organising a group to participate in and support the Sangha Alms Offering (托钵供僧).

Our vihāra will purchase and prepare the food offerings on behalf of all registered participants, so there is no need to purchase or bring any food yourselves.

As the quantity of food will be prepared according to the confirmed number of participants, advance registration is important so that we can make the necessary arrangements and ensure that everyone is properly accounted for.

Those who wish to further support this auspicious event are most welcome to:

Make a dāna to the vihāra towards the purchase and preparation of the alms offerings.

Volunteer your time and service to help purchase and prepare the food.

Assist with transporting the prepared food from our vihāra to Lian Shan Shuang Lin Monastery on the day of the event.

May we come together with joyful and sincere hearts to honour the Triple Gem, support the Sangha, and create wholesome causes and conditions for the flourishing of the Buddha Dharma.

May the merits of this offering be dedicated to the well-being and harmony of the Sangha, the peace and happiness of all sentient beings, and our continued progress along the path of wisdom and liberation.
